Our 2005 Fall semester accomplishments

UNI Tae Kwon-Do Club Black Belts, 16 years and older, are certified to officiate in National Competition.

The certifications, renewed annually, are earned when Black Belts complete specialized training and demonstrate their ability to be impartial while protecting competitors in a safe environment. Attendance at Promotional Testings, demonstrations, and seminars is required. 

August 13^th
215^th Promotional Testing, Cedar Falls
Mr. Marshall Cowell is certified a Head Instructor
New Officers include Mr. Marshall Cowell, 2^nd Dan, Club President
Mr. Brandon Hass, 2^nd Dan, Program Director
We begin the school year with 505 Black Belts

September 10^th
31^st Regional Promotional Testing, San Antonio
We gain a 1st Dan

September 24^th
32^nd Annual Midwestern Invitational Tae Kwon-Do Championship
Omaha, Nebraska. Hosted by Grand Master Suk Ki Shin, 9^th Dan
UNI Competitors earn 1 Gold, and 1 Silver Medal
Two Black Belts from UNI serve as officials

October 15^th
32^nd Annual 2005 AKTA National Tae Kwon-Do Championships
Kansas City, Kansas. Hosted by Grand Master Choon Lee, 9^th Dan
UNI and San Antonio Competitors earn 4 Gold, 2 Silver, and 4 Bronze Medals
Three Black Belts from UNI, and two Black Belts from San Antonio serve as officials

October 22^nd
36^th Anniversary Promotional Testing, Cedar Falls
Master Grant Wubbena becomes a 6^th Dan

November 12^th
5^th Anniversary Regional Black Belt Promotional Testing, San Antonio
Master Daniel Marr becomes a 5^th Dan
We gain a 1^st and 2^nd Dan

December 3^rd
217^th Promotional Testing, Cedar Falls
We gain a 1^st Dan
