Dan Promotional Testing Requirements

Candidates for advancement must submit to their SabBumNim, the following required items at least 30 days prior to their scheduled Promotional Testing. Assigned thesis must be submitted to the Chief Judge on Testing day.

Required items:

1^st Dan-R        Application, Biography, Thesis
1^st Dan            Application, Biography, Thesis, Two 2x2 inch photographs
2^nd Dan-R       Application, Biography, Thesis
2^nd Dan           Application, Biography, Thesis, Two 2x2 inch photographs
3^rd Dan-R       Application, Biography, Thesis
3^rd Dan            Application, Biography, Thesis, Two 2x2 inch photographs
4^th Dan            Application, Biography, Thesis, Two 2x2 inch photographs
5^th Dan            Application, Biography, Thesis, Two 2x2 inch photographs
6^th Dan            Application, Biography, Thesis, Two 2x2 inch photographs

Additionally, students must have practiced consistently during the Testing cycle, and must have attended the previous Promotional Testing. Black Belts must have attended at least 20 classes since the last Testing.

A Testing application may be obtained from your immediate Instructor.
Form SCF-504 A&B must be on file to participate in the Promotional Testing.
