Lately, we have found birds of prey taking-up residence
in high rise buildings in Central Park in New York City,
and in downtown Des Moines.

Wildlife experts tell us these creatures are flocking to the cities
because they are loosing their natural habitat.

This young Red Tail Hawk was found just outside my office building
in downtown Waterloo feasting on a tasty meal.

I am fortunate it allowed me to get close enough
to take these pictures.
